La Cena de sueñas 
I got to meet one of the best members in my area! Her name's Kathy, she's unhinged, and we have dinner with her every Monday night. After eating dinner, it's traditional that we play an intense game of uno no mercy. I definitely won. For sure.

El Hombre lloró
We made a grown man cry the other day, but it was in a good way. He was going through some hard stuff in life, but then we showed him this one inspirational video, and he started tearing up. Super spirit filled and awesome👍

Quesadilla salado
Something devastating happened. I was adding spices to my fancy quesadilla, when suddenly, the salt shaker broke, and a white tsunami of sadness drenched my delicious meal 😭 
After attempting to clear it all off, Hermana Carson offered to eat it. I think it was the biggest regret of her life. Very crunchy quesadilla.

Conferencia General
We had General Conference!!! It was awesome!!! A bunch of members threw a huge watch party at the church, and we had the chance to invite a bunch of our friends to it! We even got to give our cool friend Jose his first Book of Mormon! And the food was soooo rica 😋 

Pensamiento Espiritual 
Jesus Christ. A name that almost every person on this planet knows. Yet do they know why they know it? Do they know just how much he effects their lives? 
Do you know?

In 2 nephi 33:6, it says:
 "I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell."
As I've been reading more and more of the scriptures, I've noticed that Hell isn't referred to as a place. It's a state of mind; a state of the soul. When our soul is in Hell, we're in misery, pain, and anguish. But as this beautiful scripture says, Jesus redeems our souls from Hell. Our misery can evaporate through his sacrifice, his atonement, for us. 
Jesus Christ makes it possible for us to not only live forever, but to live forever with a fullness of joy! 
And we can start feeling that pure joy now, if we center Christ in our lives.
Focus on Christ. Walk with him. He is the way to joy.

Holaaaaaaa Not a crazy ton happened this week, but here's a list for y'all: ♡Mini golfing with the frenchies (french elders) on P-day!!! Got 3 holes in 1!!!  ♡EXCHANGES!!! With Sister Higley!! She's super great!! English work isn't though :( ♡At the food bank we volunteer at, there's this guy that only ever wants bacon. We named him the Bacon Man. Then we found out that his name was Joe. He's Joe the Bacon Man, wanted in two states. (I will not explain that second part any further.) ♡What's the most famous thing about Kentucky? KFC? WRONG! It's the Kentucky Derby of course!! Which happens to be in my area! They have this special event called Thunder over Louisville that we got to go to! It's basically a fair by the Ohio river!! ♡We have this one new member named Jero that is very picky with getting along with people. Hola hola! Sorry I missed last week. It won't happen again... probably. Elder Caussé Last Saturday we had a mission tour from none other than our brand new apostle... ELDER CAUSSÉ!!! Woot woot!  For the past month, since we got the news, everyone had been absolutely freaking out about this. I mean, he's one of the 12! But as the mission tour commenced, we quickly found out something even better about this man- he's just a normal wholesome dude!  When he started his talk, he literally just whipped out a bunch of wholesome jokes, and you could immediately see the absolute joy this man had in his life! Also, since us Hermanas were in the front row, he said, "Hola! Buenos tardes!" And spoke a little in spanish, which was an awesome surprise!
