Week 1: Spanish or Vanish
¡Hola hermanos y hermanas! Week one is done! Home MTC has been a wonderful time, and I have made many great friends like my companion, my district, my teachers, and most importantly, Google Translate! Español Every morning, I have a 3 hour Spanish class taught by the one and only Hermano Ramirez! On our first day, he taught us many of the important basic greetings, which were very helpful! But then, at the end of class, he dropped the bomb on us: after today, NO MORE ENGLISH in his class! Everyone in our district looked at each other with the same fearful expressions. We had to learn Spanish quickly! So from that time on, Google Translate, Embark, and I became best friends! To make sure I didn’t look like a fool, I wrote a prayer in Spanish just in case I was chosen to say it the next day. And tada! I was, and I didn’t look like a fool!
