Joe the Bacon Man🥸🥓
Holaaaaaaa
Not a crazy ton happened this week, but here's a list for y'all:
♡Mini golfing with the frenchies (french elders) on P-day!!! Got 3 holes in 1!!!
♡EXCHANGES!!! With Sister Higley!! She's super great!! English work isn't though :(
♡At the food bank we volunteer at, there's this guy that only ever wants bacon. We named him the Bacon Man. Then we found out that his name was Joe. He's Joe the Bacon Man, wanted in two states. (I will not explain that second part any further.)
♡What's the most famous thing about Kentucky? KFC? WRONG! It's the Kentucky Derby of course!! Which happens to be in my area! They have this special event called Thunder over Louisville that we got to go to! It's basically a fair by the Ohio river!!
♡We have this one new member named Jero that is very picky with getting along with people. You have to basically earn his trust in order for him to pay you any attention. For a while, he hasn't bothered trying to talk or listen to me, but this week I finally broke open his shell!! It started by us bullying each other and then finding out that we have the same favorite movie (Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse). Now we're bros! Life is good!
Pensamiento Espiritual
"And now if Christ had not come into the world... there could have been no redemption.
7 And if Christ had not risen from the dead, or have broken the bands of death that the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no sting, there could have been no resurrection.
8 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.
9 He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death."(Mosiah 16:6-9)
Man, Abinadi has some strong words here. "The sting of death is swallowed up in christ."
I know that the pain and anguish and emptiness that we can often feel can and will be swallowed up in Christ. I know that he is the light, and if you look towards him, he will never be dim. He will light your way.
Love y'all! Stay majestic! Know that God loves you!
Les quiero!!

P.s. Kentucky has a thing where they have random horse statues painted weird funky patterns/colors. So here's the painted horse of the week:
