🛸👽✨️ALIENS✨️👽🛸
Feliz Lunes hermanas y hermanos!!!
I got some stories for y'all.
Las extraterrestres
That's right. ✨️ALIENS✨️
One of our members named Carmen told us her alien-encounter experience:
It was the middle of the night. She was at home, on her ranch in the middle of Mexico.
Then BAM! The brightest lights she'd ever seen shined through the windows of her house. Then her whole family woke up to go see what was happening.
Carmen heard muffled talking of somekind outside their home, and she worried for a second that it was the Cartel coming after them. (Mostly because their landlord at the time was a Government official, so a popular target.)
Carmen's son peaked out the window, and she called out, "Felipe! No! It's not safe!"
But he continued looking, and said, "Wow! Mom! Come look!!"
Figuring it wasn't the Cartel, she peeked through the same window, and was amazed by what she saw.
Two humanoid figures stood in the field in front of their house. She described them as tall, almost 7 ft, with pale skin that was almost gray-ish. Other than that, they looked more human-like, not like a stereotypical alien.
Behind them was a giant ship with the bright lights they saw from earlier. It looked like your basic ufo.
One of the two figures pointed at there house, and they seemed to continue talking, until eventually they walked back into their ship and flew away.
Carmen and her whole family were shocked, wondering if what they saw was real. They went outside the next day, and that same field where their ship was had a wide circle of flattened grass.
What do y'all think? Was it real? Fake? A hallucination? Eh, it probably doesn't matter either way.
Jose Manuel
This friend of ours is amazing! He kinda just showed up out of the blue and came to church before we started teaching him. And now, he comes to everything! English class, Soccer Night, General Conference, etc. We had one fantastic lesson with him and we got to give him a Book of Mormon, in which he immediately started reading on his own!
Everything about this was perfect, in fact too perfect. I may not be halfway through my mission yet, but I've been out long enough to know that everyone always has some sort of trial that delays them from immediately getting baptized. So what was it gonna be? What was gonna stop us from putting him on bap-date our second lesson?
Afterlife. He doesn't believe in an afterlife.
Which is weird, because he believes in God. And Jesus. But he just believes that Jesus Christ is a philosopher.
Slightly funky beliefs, I think. But that just means we're gonna have a great Plan of Salvation Lesson with him 😉
Chanchullos (shenanigans)
I'm lucky to have comps that have the same humor as me, so here's what we've been up to on the side:
-Constantly talking in British accents (That darn game of Clue)
-Turning our apartment into a parkour course
-scrapbooking (very deadly)
-swapping Hermana Gray and Hermana Carson's name tags (muahaha)
-Deep dive on Armageddon/ Second Coming
-Movie quotes/guessing/everything
Pensamiento Espiritual
"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18)
Our pain doesn't last forever. It's only a small portion of our eternal lives. There's more. And it will be more joyful and beautiful than we can possibly understand in this life!
Anyways, I hope y'all had a great day! If you made it this far, tell me and alien story. Yours or someone elses. I'm not picky.
Jesus te ama!
