Week 4: 127 Nutellas!!
Hola Amigos!
I'll try to keep this short for the Holidays!
Víspera de Todos los Santos
Halloween just happened! And even though the CCM doesn't really celebrate it, District 11B sure does! Us Hermanas rampaged through our closets trying to see who we could dress up as! We mostly dressed up as Disney Princesses (try and guess who I am from the pictures) and Hermana Fisher dressed as a Disobedient Elder (with a little scruff and all.) It was hilarious! We had a great time!
That night, we went “trick or treating” around the other Casas with the rest of our District. It was kinda reverse because we were the ones giving out the treats. We had a LOT of Nutella packs. 127 to be exact. So we had a lot to give out. How did we get them, you may ask? Let's just say it involved a lot of smuggling (in a legal way).
Dia de los Muertos
The day after was the Day of the Dead! Yay! We got to watch Coco that night, which was so fun!
Our Spanish teacher gave us Pan de Muertos and that stuff is muy bien! Would eat 20 more times!
This day also got me thinking a lot more about Family History Work! If you'll get a chance, look into more stories about your ancestors!
Responsabilidad
Mi Compañera and I got called as Sister Training Leaders! I hope I can be as awesome as our last ones!
Un Amigo
My friend Hermana Brady just got to the CCM! I saw her for the first time in like 3 weeks on Halloween! I love having her here!
Pensamiento Espiritual
This Sunday I read Uchtdorf's talk titled “The Love of God” and he said something that really stuck out to me:
“...oh, how we need to love God!
For what we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do.
What we think and do determines who we are—and who we will become.”
Fin
If you made it this far, tell me something fun that you did for Halloween or Dia de los Muertos!
Hasta Luego!
