Week 11: Piñata and everything

Feliz Navidad mi amigos!!!

This week was lots of fun and had lots of miracles!!!

Fun P-day
 I went to Buccees for the first time! We went with our District on P-day! Then we played Secret Hitler afterwards! It was a blast!

The perfect lesson (La lección perfecta)
Lopez and I had the most ideal lesson ever! It was with a new friend we went to visit named Sofia! We taught her about the BOM and she fell in love with it! She asked us why other churches hadn't taught her about it, and we said that the other churches didn't believe in it. Then she basically asked, "Why? The Bible literally talks about there being other prophets." And we were like, "Yes!! Exactly!!" So yeah, she said she wants to tell all her friends about it!

Zone Conference! (La Conferencia de Zona)
This Friday was my first Zone Conference! It was super fun and apparently more chilled out than usual for the Christmas season! We got to watch Mr. Krueger's Christmas which is mas o menos. My District also sang in it!

Fiesta Navideña!!!!
This Saturday we had our Branch Christmas party! And let's just say, latinos know how to throw it down! We had amazing food, a bouncy house, the Grinch, and most importantly, a PIÑATA!!! Actually, 2 piñatas!!! One for the kids and one for the adults. It was nice to release some righteous anger onto that lovely Grinch.

2 bautismos??? (Baptisms)
We had 2 of our friends this week say that they want to get baptized!!! We can't quite put them on date yet because of some complications, but hey! They're a few steps closer!!
We also had a bunch of new friends come to church this Sunday! So cool!

Joe the Bacon Man🥸🥓

Holaaaaaaa Not a crazy ton happened this week, but here's a list for y'all: ♡Mini golfing with the frenchies (french elders) on P-day!!! Got 3 holes in 1!!!  ♡EXCHANGES!!! With Sister Higley!! She's super great!! English work isn't though :( ♡At the food bank we volunteer at, there's this guy that only ever wants bacon. We named him the Bacon Man. Then we found out that his name was Joe. He's Joe the Bacon Man, wanted in two states. (I will not explain that second part any further.) ♡What's the most famous thing about Kentucky? KFC? WRONG! It's the Kentucky Derby of course!! Which happens to be in my area! They have this special event called Thunder over Louisville that we got to go to! It's basically a fair by the Ohio river!! ♡We have this one new member named Jero that is very picky with getting along with people. Hola hola! Sorry I missed last week. It won't happen again... probably. Elder Caussé Last Saturday we had a mission tour from none other than our brand new apostle... ELDER CAUSSÉ!!! Woot woot!  For the past month, since we got the news, everyone had been absolutely freaking out about this. I mean, he's one of the 12! But as the mission tour commenced, we quickly found out something even better about this man- he's just a normal wholesome dude!  When he started his talk, he literally just whipped out a bunch of wholesome jokes, and you could immediately see the absolute joy this man had in his life! Also, since us Hermanas were in the front row, he said, "Hola! Buenos tardes!" And spoke a little in spanish, which was an awesome surprise!
