Week 10? I got a guitar!!!!


Hola! Qué pasa!

I hope y'all's Christmas season is going well! Here's what happened this past week:

1)We went on more intercambios (exchanges), but with our STLs this time! It was so fun! And also weird going English speaking for 24 hours!

2) I got a guitar! When on exchanges with STLs, I told them I could play it, and they said they had one! So they gave it to me and I immediately started jamming on it! The next day when we switched back, they gave it to me and said it was mine because neither of them play it! Woohoo!

3) Our friend Leo went back to Peru :( And we were worried that he might not continue with our church when he went back, but yesterday he sent us a picture with 2 Peru missionaries! Woohoo! :D

4) The temperature here has gone down to the negatives! One morning we had to scrape off a half-inch of ice off of our car! Yikes!

5) Hermana Lopez and I felt a prompting to check up on one of our inactive families who lived a little further out. So we knocked on their door, they answered, and we had a small simple lesson about the Birth of Jesus Christ. The dad ended up baring his testimony and said that he was struggling to feel the spirit the last couple of years until we showed up and taught this lesson! So that was really cool! That family is awesome!

Pensamiento Espiritual 
"For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do"(2Nephi 32:5). 
I've noticed a lot recently about how powerful it is to listen to Spiritual Promptings from the Holy Ghost. Remember, if you feel a prompting, act on it! It can help you and so many others!

Holaaaaaaa Not a crazy ton happened this week, but here's a list for y'all: ♡Mini golfing with the frenchies (french elders) on P-day!!! Got 3 holes in 1!!!  ♡EXCHANGES!!! With Sister Higley!! She's super great!! English work isn't though :( ♡At the food bank we volunteer at, there's this guy that only ever wants bacon. We named him the Bacon Man. Then we found out that his name was Joe. He's Joe the Bacon Man, wanted in two states. (I will not explain that second part any further.) ♡What's the most famous thing about Kentucky? KFC? WRONG! It's the Kentucky Derby of course!! Which happens to be in my area! They have this special event called Thunder over Louisville that we got to go to! It's basically a fair by the Ohio river!! ♡We have this one new member named Jero that is very picky with getting along with people. Hola hola! Sorry I missed last week. It won't happen again... probably. Elder Caussé Last Saturday we had a mission tour from none other than our brand new apostle... ELDER CAUSSÉ!!! Woot woot!  For the past month, since we got the news, everyone had been absolutely freaking out about this. I mean, he's one of the 12! But as the mission tour commenced, we quickly found out something even better about this man- he's just a normal wholesome dude!  When he started his talk, he literally just whipped out a bunch of wholesome jokes, and you could immediately see the absolute joy this man had in his life! Also, since us Hermanas were in the front row, he said, "Hola! Buenos tardes!" And spoke a little in spanish, which was an awesome surprise!
